InVista may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), threaten the privacy of others, or are impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup systems).
Where InVista can provide information access and modification or deletion, InVista will endeavor to do so without charge, unless fulfilling the request would require a disproportionate effort by InVista. We may retain original and updated information for reasons such as technical constraints, dispute resolution, compliance with laws, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and enforcement of our terms of use and other agreements, or any other reason consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Our use of cookies
We use different types of cookies, web or hardware beacons, pixel tags, log files, local shared objects (“Local Shared Objects”), HTML5 cookies, and similar technologies to automatically collect the information discussed above.
Generally, cookies are small bits of information that are stored by your computer’s web browser. Pixel tags are very small images or small pieces of data embedded in images, also known as “web beacons” or “clear GIFs,” that can recognize cookies, the time and date a page is viewed, a description of the page where the pixel tag is placed, and similar information from your computer or device. Local Shared Objects (sometimes referred to as Flash Cookies) are similar to standard cookies except that they can be larger and are downloaded to a computer or mobile device by the Adobe Flash media player. By using the Services, you consent to our use of cookies and similar technologies.
Essential Cookies:
Some cookies we use are essential for enabling your movement around our website and providing access to our Services. You may be able to refuse or disable these cookies by adjusting your web browser settings. Consult the instructions provided by your web browser (typically in the help section). However, please keep in mind that many of our features (such as remembering your preferences) may not function properly if your cookies are disabled. You can learn more about cookies, see what cookies have been set on your computing device, and learn how to manage and delete them by visiting http://allaboutcookies.org.
Analytics Cookies:
We use analytics providers to collect and analyze information about your use of our website and report on activities and trends. These services may also collect information in the aggregate regarding the use of other websites, apps and online resources. We do not control all of the information collected by such partners or advertisers in connection with our website, and they do not process all such data on our behalf. You may install a Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on by going here.
Marketing Cookies:
Some third parties collect information about users of our Services to provide interest-based advertising on our Services and elsewhere, including across browsers and devices. These third parties may use the information they collect on our Services to make predictions about your interests in order to provide you ads (from us and other companies) across the Internet. Some of these third parties may participate in an industry organization that gives users the opportunity to opt out of receiving ads that are tailored based on your online activities.
We use LinkedIn Insight Tags to collect aggregate data from users who visit our website and use our Services. The information collected by these tags include the URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics (User Agent), and timestamp. This data is encrypted, the IP addresses are truncated, and members’ direct identifiers are removed within seven days in order to make the data pseudonymous. This remaining, pseudonymized data is then deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn does not share any Personal Information with us. You can learn more about these tags and how to control your use of personal data on LinkedIn’s website by going here.
To learn more about the use of cookies and other technologies to deliver more relevant advertising and to understand your choices with respect to the collection and use of such data by third party tools, visit Digital Advertising Alliance or Network Advertising Initiative. To opt out of the use of your mobile device ID for targeted advertising, please see http://www.aboutads.info/appchoices.
Due to differences between using apps and websites on mobile devices, you may need to take additional steps to disable targeted ad technologies in mobile apps. Many mobile devices allow you to opt out of targeted advertising for mobile apps using the settings within the mobile app or your mobile device. For more information, please check your mobile settings. You also may uninstall our apps using the standard uninstall process available on your mobile device or app marketplace. If you opt out, you will still receive advertisements, but they may not be as relevant to you and your interests, and your experience on our Services may be degraded.
Privacy Rights of California Residents

Our Services may contain links to other websites that we do not own or control. Some of these sites may even be co-branded with our name or logo. We are not responsible for the data collection practices of any of these other websites. You will not hold us responsible for any aspect of these other websites, including their content, privacy policies, or anything else. You must use your own discretion when you go to other websites. We encourage you to carefully review the privacy policies applicable to any website or service you visit other than our website and Services before providing any Personal Information on them.
Do-not-track signals
Some web browsers transmit “do-not-track” signals to websites. Because of differences in how web browsers incorporate and activate this feature, it is not always clear whether users intend for these signals to be transmitted, or whether they even are aware of them. We currently do not take action in response to these signals.
Information Concerning Children
InVista services are not directed to children, and InVista does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13) years. When a user discloses Personal Information on the Services, the user is representing to us that he or she is at least thirteen (13) years of age.
If you are the parent or guardian of a child under the age of thirteen (13) years, who you believe has provided InVista with personally identifiable information through the Services, please e-mail us at privacy@invistatalent.com so that we can delete the child’s information from our records.
